For this shot I zoomed all the way using a 300mm lens. Usually I like to take wide angle shots of landscapes and sunsets but the wide angle just wasn't doing it for me this day.
This bridge is newly constructed which replaced some abandoned railroad tracks over the Little Calumet River in Munster, IN. I really miss those railroad tracks. They were covered with spray paint & grown over with weeds and it just was intriguing & interesting in my opinion.
I waited & waited & hoped for some lightning to strike while I had this shot set up, but it never happened. All the lightning was to the west, and here I'm facing south. I did get some lightning strikes, but am not happy with the quality.
